More Than Just A Cream - PainTx for IBS/IBD

It was developed by Dr. Larry Good. Dr. Good has been a practicing gastroenterologist since 1978.
As a gastroenterologist, Dr. Good sees many patients suffering from varying levels of pain caused by intestinal microbiome. He has conducted numerous research studies in inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and orally administered gamma globulin to patients with acute and chronic gastro-intestinal disorders. In 2014, Dr. Good founded Good Pharmaceutical Development Co to launch the topical product PainTx to treat neuropathic pain.(1) The mission of Good Pharmaceutical is to provide a “safe, non-addictive, and clinically-proven topical treatment for pain relief”.(2)
Pain Tx is the first CBD product that was developed by pharmacists and doctors to be clinically tested. The CBD used is an isolate form from hemp grown and harvested in the U.S. Because it is an isolate, the product does not contain THC, thus is does not possess any psychoactive properties. Each tub has a full 2200mg of CBD - one of the highest concentrations of CBD available in the market. It is non=toxic, non-systemic and has virtually no side effects. The clinical trials used a randomized controlled trial involving 22 patients receiving 30 fourteen-day treatment periods. The overall results saw an average of 35% decrease in pain using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) which lasted between 2 and 6 hours. Similar results were also found when they compared PainTx to placebo response in other randomized controlled trials.(2)
